Anderson United Way Center, 2059 Atwood Ave., Madison

We often think of history as something that happened way back then - a long time ago. And of course, a lot of history did occur in the distant past. But what about the history of our own time? We often don't think of that as history, and we don't realize that we are living and making our own history.

Using documentaries this class will look at some of the most noteworthy struggles of workers in the United States and internationally to improve their  conditions in the recent past.  Don't miss these exciting stories!

Class time will be dedicated primarily to screening films, first, and class discussion, second.  All are welcome! To view and print a copy of the flyer (and film list) click here.
