Who We Are
AFSCME Local 171 represents blue collar, security and technical employees on the UW Campus. We negotiate campus working conditions and represent people who have a grievance with management. Local 171 is one of 56 locals in the Wisconsin State Employees Union (WSEU), which is part of the American Federation of State, County, Municipal Employees.

Local 171 Membership Meetings: NEW TIME & PLACE!
